Humble Beginnings

Turtle Mountain LLC is a privately held dairy free foods company headquartered in Eugene, Oregon nestled in the lush Willamette Valley. The company began as a one-man operation by its founder and present CEO/President, Mark Brawerman. As a consumer of healthy food alternatives Mark saw a growing need for products that tasted like their dairy counterparts but contained no dairy ingredients. Mark began by developing a series of non-dairy frozen dessert recipes. These humble beginnings served as a foundation for what has become an industry leader in providing premium dairy free frozen desserts, beverages, creamers and cultured products.

From the onset Mark's vision was to provide consumers with only the best tasting dairy free products that Mother Nature could provide. Since 1990 Turtle Mountain has evolved from a company specializing in dairy free frozen desserts to an organization that offers a complete portfolio of outstanding products that can be found throughout today's progressive supermarkets and natural food stores. No other company boasts as wide a range of frozen and refrigerated products, and many that are the market leaders in their respective category. We owe our success not only to Mark's vision but to a dedicated team of individuals who enthusiastically embrace the uncompromising goal of providing the best dairy products in the marketplace.
